You need to create a customer feedback survey but there are so many options to choose from. You don’t want to put time and effort into a platform that’s going to cost too much or isn’t going to meet your needs. Whether you want some quick feedback from a one-off event or you want to build a long-term feedback management programme for your company.

These are three of the best platforms: SurveyMonkey vs SurveyGizmo vs Satsum.

SurveyMonkey

The granddaddy of DIY survey tools. SurveyMonkey invented the idea of self-service survey creation. SurveyMonkey has evolved over the years to offer a wide range of templates and customization options. They offer a free basic version for small informal surveys.

The Freemium option is limited to 10 questions and 100 responses per survey. With advanced packages coming in from £24 – £779 per month. Custom branding and skip logic comes in with their £24 per month package.

If you’re looking for a no-nonsense survey tool that does the basics quickly and simply then SurveyMonkey is a reliable option.

SurveyGizmo

SurveyGizmo came to the market with a vision of making more advanced survey programming available in an online tool.

Their freemium option offers up to 50 responses a month with limited question types and basic reporting. Whilst their more advanced packages range from $15 to $199 per month.  With survey logic and custom branding coming in at the $75 per month price point.

If you’re willing to sacrifice a bit of speed for  more advanced features then SurveyGizmo is a good choice.

Satsum

Satsum is a bit different to both SurveyMonkey and SurveyGizmo in that it’s more of a DIY research solution than a DIY survey tool. It’s focussed purely on customer satisfaction research and has some advanced analytics built in to help you make sense of the results.

Their pricing ranges from $9 – $49 per month with a free trial available. All price plans offer unlimited responses but their surveys are limited to customer feedback so if that’s not your main focus you should look at one of the other options.

If you’re interested in customer feedback and you want a tool that guides you through a best practice research process, Satsum is the best option.
